Isobel and Angela realising they both had a passion for their home county of Caithness set in the North Highlands of Scotland set up Above and Beyond Tours in 2019. Wanting to share their local knowledge and stories of growing up and living in the area they saw an opportunity to research and learn even more about Caithness. Angela has years of experience in the Scottish tourism industry and Isobel is a qualified life coach.
Once their Driving Tours became established and were proving popular, they collaborated with other local people and businesses to offer Experience Packages, Walking Tours, Health & Wellbeing Tours and Distillery Tours, they also now employ 2 part-time guides to bring their own experiences of Caithness for visitors to enjoy. Above and Beyond Tours of Caithness are at a slower pace, using local knowledge of the area, taking you off the beaten track to explore hidden gems Caithness has to offer.
